June 4, 1947 - April 18, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Inge Elizabeth Cox on April 18, 2020 after a battle with brain cancer.
Inge was born to Otto and Lina Doerries on June 4, 1947 in Einbeck Germany.
Inge grew up in Saskatchewan where she attended teachers college. Upon graduation she taught in Snow Lake Manitoba. Here she met her husband John and together they raised two children Marian and Adam.
The family then moved to Yellowknife and finally to Clearwater.
Aside from her family Inge loved to be by rushing water, camping and fishing and she always took great glee in being the one to catch the first fish of the year. She also loved her garden and was always trying new plants.
Inge was pre-deceased by her father Otto, her stepfather Oscar Flath and her mother Lina. Inge is survived by her husband John, daughter Marian, son Adam, brother Rolf Doerries (Rose) and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Inges' ashes will be spread on the water at some future date.
