Harry Thompson

Harry F. Thompson, 78, of Clearwater, formerly of Edmonton, Alberta, and Northumberland, England, died surrounded by his family on Aug. 4, 2003.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Olive; sons Stuart (Judy) and their children Kim (Gil) and Trevor (Chantal); Ian (Teresa) and his daughters Tanis (Neal), Carmen (Sean) and Cassie; daughters Enid (Len) Rudyk and their daughters Alison and Leslie, all of the Edmonton area; Christine (Roland) Mandau and her children Carrie (Kevin) and Derrick, of Slave Lake, Alberta; son-in-law Preston Sharun and his daughter Kelsie, of Edmonton, and six great-grandchildren. One sister Margaret (Tommy) Gallagher, his brother Billie (Eileen), sister-in-law Phillis Osborne, brothers-in-law Edwin Redden, Bill (Adeline) Patterson, many nieces, nephews and their families, Olive’s children Patsy and David (Loraine) and their families, all of England.

Harry was predeceased by his first wife, the mother of his children, Isabella in 1975, his second wife Jean 1996, his daughter Lynn Sharun in 1990, two sisters, Nellie and Mary and a brother Andrew in infancy.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Clearwater on Sept. 20, 2003, time and place to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the forest fire victims or the Clearwater Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
