It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Richard Creed.
Richard was born - eldest of six - to Leslie Creed and Effie Townsend in Nipawin Saskatchewan on September 19th, 1944. In 1973 he met his wife Verna and they were married in September 1974.
Richard spent his career in the logging industry - a family man and a provider. He spent many of his weekends hunting or fishing, and also enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, darts, keno, and of course always being surrounded by family.
Richard is survived by his wife Verna Creed, children Valene Creed (Matt) and Kayla Fowler (Gilbert), grandchildren Brook-Lynn, Keona, and grandson on the way, siblings Ken Creed (Linda), Milly Case, Tena Treseng, and sister-in-laws Jeannie Creed, Pat Creed (Russ) and nieces and nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his brother Charlie Creed and Ralph Creed and brother-in-laws Doug Case, and Wally Treseng.
