DEKELVER
1953 - 2008
George DeKelver left us suddenly on October 31, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born in Golden, BC on December 25, 1953, George’s memory will be cherished by Charmaine, his companion of 20 years; his sons Kyle, Dustin, and also Jordan LaVoie; his mother Ida; brothers Carl (Diane), Joe (Diane), Rick (Cathy) of Clearwater, BC; and sister Tina (Laurie) of McLeese Lake, BC; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Emil, sister Dianne and nephew Justin and Charmaine’s father Duke Shore.
George had a love of Harleys, monkey-wrenching and the outdoors. His sense of humour combined with his ingenuity and devil-may-care attitude are the stuff of many tales of danger and adventure. He will be remembered for his generosity and kind heartedness by all that knew him. May you rest with peace and the wind be in your face forever.
