Dorothy Lucas of Merritt, B.C., passed away peacefully on Sept. 4, 2004 at the age of 86 years. She was born in Ceylon, Saskatchewan, on April 13, 1918.
She is survived by her daughter Doreen (Doug James) Wallin of Clearwater and her son, Gerald (Valerie) Yantz of Kamloops. Dorothy is also survived by her grandchildren Cheryl (Wayne) Morhart, Cindy Beka, Candace (Scott) Thomson, John (Wanda) Beka, Donald (Lisa) Beka, Darcy Beka, Troy (Jennifer) Wallin, Russell Fedechko, Michael (Michelle) Fedechko, Jody (Rob) Chisolm and Kim Yantz, by 23 great-grandchildren and by three great-great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by husbands Phillip Yantz and George Lucas, sons-in-law John Beka, Ray Almas and Ernie Wallin, and grandsons Dwayne Beka and Darren Beka.
