Dianne Joyce Fowler passed away on June 20, 2002, at her home in Barriere, B.C., lovingly surrounded by friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dianne was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on March 25, 1950.
She moved to Port Coquitlam where she met, loved and married Bill Fowler.
In 1979 Bill and Di moved with their children to Barriere where they became active in the local softball and music scenes.
Dianne will be remembered for her giving heart, love of life and that wonderful smile and easy laugh that brightened our days. Her gift for hospitality was always evident in her home. Many friends of the family lovingly called her “Mom.”
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 26 years, Bill Fowler, her children Sean, Angelina and Dustin, and her precious grandchildren, Tyler, Jessica and Harmony.
The family wants to thank Judy May a wonderful friend, the ladies from Home Support especially Carol who gave so freely with her time, and the Hospice Society.
A special thank you to Dr. Clare and Joanne Delaney for being there every time they were needed.
The Fowler Family and friends celebrated Dianne’s life on the afternoon of June 22, at the Fowler home.
