FLOEN, Barbara Frances
S u r r o u n d e d b y her children, Barbara Frances Floen passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the age of 58 years, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
A long time resident of Clearwater, but most recently of Kamloops, Barb is now reunited with her beloved husband Bob who passed away in February of 2000.
Barb is survived by her three loving children; daughter Leslie (Dennis) Potoroka, son Ron (Simone) and their two sons Tyler and Alec Floen, and daughter Kristy Floen. She also leaves six sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Barb was born on September 20, 1947 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. In July 1965, she married Bob and they relocated to BC. In 1972, Barb and Bob moved to Clearwater to raise their family.
Family and friends were always the most important part of Barb’s life, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Mass for Barb was celebrated by Father Forde at 11 a.m. on Saturday Aug 5, 2006
at St. James Catholic Church 324 Grant Road, Clearwater., BC.
The wishes of Barb and her family are that if friends desire, donations be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation Campaign For Cancer Care 311 Columbia St., Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 in her memory.
