In Loving Memory of Arthur Edwin “Art” Howatt
July 3, 1947 ~ March 4, 2007
Art Howatt of Clearwater, BC, passed away suddenly at his home at 59 years of age.
Art leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Brenda Cisna of Clearwater, children Tammy (Dwayne) Szola of Scarborough, ON, Annette (Leslie Streek) Frayne of Clearwater, Tracy (Dallas) Dunn of Stony Plain, AB and Tyler Cisna of Clearwater, as well as grandchildren Kendra, Danae, Raymond, Tyhran, Zandreya and Coster.
Art is also survived by two aunts, Lucy and Vange, both of Calgary, AB, his mother-in-law Joan (Albert) Keichinger of Lloydminster, SK, brothers-in-law Dennis Christian of Clearwater and Lyle Cisna and Allen Cisna, both of Lloydminster, SK, sisters-in-law Della (John) Bass of Stony Plain, AB, and Gail (Randy) Coulter of Okanagan Falls, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Art was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Marguerite Bremner, or Mom and Dad as he called them, his father Roy Howatt, father-in-law Cecil Cisna, sister-in-law Fran Christian, son-in-law Lucky Frayne and infant son Daniel.
Art spent more than 45 years in the Clearwater community as a mill worker and handyman to many.
He enjoyed the outdoors and spent many summers at the surrounding lakes camping with his family and friends. He will be long remembered for his love of westerns, old time rock and roll, and antique cars and trucks.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service for Arthur Howatt took place on March 10, 2007 at the Wells Gray Inn, Clearwater BC.
