Antonio Breda
1933 - 2017
Antonio Breda, known to his grandchildren as Nonno, suddenly passed away at Dr. Helmcken Hospital in Clearwater B.C. on March 9, 2017.
Tony was born on July 18, 1933 in Oderzo, Italy. Tony came to Canada in December of 1957. He was first in Regina, Saskatchewan then made his way to Clearwater in 1971 with his wife and young son.
Tony enjoyed building fish ponds and waterfalls. His back yard was beautifully landscaped, working with rock and soil was where he found his relaxation. He was also a member of the Clearwater Elks Lodge #499 for many years.
Nonno died at the age of 83. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his 2 sons and 5 grandchildren: Dino (Erin, Bryan, Zoey), Jason (Kaya, Makayla, Keio) both of Clearwater B.C. His brothers, IIario (Bruna) of Regina, Sask. and Nino (Ivana) of Oderzo, Italy. His sister, Dina (Delfina) of Italy. His ex-wife, Elsie (Al). And numerous nephews and nieces. Tony was predeceased by his sister Norina and his brother Bruno (Rosetta).
A celebration of life will be held during the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clearwater Elk’s Lodge #499 (c/o Phyllis Bucknell, 942 Village Rd. Clearwater, BC).
