September 8, 1940 – July 25, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness to announce the passing of a beautiful, thoughtful, caring woman, Mrs. Adeline Buck.
She passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021 at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops B.C.
Adeline was not only a wife, mom, sister and best friend; she was well known in the community of Clearwater and loved by so many.
Adeline is survived by her children: Carol Sauvé, Morris Sauvé (Darla), Barb Rolland, Richard Sauvé (Vicki), Laurie Buck, Brenda Davison (Tracy), Glenda Sauvé, Sandra Larson (Erin), and Delilah Buck (Jay). She is also survived by her sister Minnie Sollows (Doug) and brother John Yurkiw (Elaine), as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Adeline is predeceased by her mom and dad, Mike and Jean Yurkiw, her husband Lorne Buck, son Michael Buck, daughter Darlene Cameron (Ron), granddaughter Michelle Criss and brother Mervin Yurkiw (Linda).
Adeline married Lorne August 29, 1975 and they lived in Sunshine Valley, raising the family with love and happiness.
Adeline loved to garden and sure knew how to can … especially pickles – delicious! We will miss all the wonderful cooking and baking she did, oh and the pierogis, they tasted just like Baba’s … yummy!
