A. Dennis Christian
January 5, 1948 – July 14, 2009
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of A. Dennis Christian.
Dennis was born on January 5, 1948 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Fred and Margaret Christian. He moved to B.C. at the age of 20 and quickly made Clearwater his home, finding work at the local lumber mill and making many friends.
Dennis was a hardworking, dedicated family man who will be dearly missed. He was predeceased by his loving wife Fran, his parents Fred and Margaret, father-in-law Cecil Cisna, sister Marge Taylor, sister-in-law Mary Christian and nephews Daniel Cisna and Christian Zubiak.
Dennis leaves to mourn his passing, his son, Billy Christian (Courtney Miller), his niece Tracy (Dallas) Dunn, mother-in-law Joan (Albert) Keichinger, brother David Christian, sisters Ann (Ron) Brooks, Wanda Case, Ida (Maurice) Piatt, Shirley (Dave) Duranceau, sisters-in-law Brenda (Jim) Tomyn, Della (John) Bass, Gail (Randy) Coulter, brothers-in-law Lyle and Allen Cisna as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Dennis Christian was held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Ski Hill Lodge, Clearwater, BC. Lloyd Strickland, Minister, officiated. Cremation followed with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Clearwater, BC.
