The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in the TNRD Boardroom, 4th Floor - 465 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC, to consider proposed Bylaw No 2765, 2024. The Board of Directors also gives notice that it will consider issuance of a Temporary Use Permit (TUP No. 72) at the same meeting on October 3, 2024.
What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2765, 2024?
It will rezone a portion of 1238 Ford Rd in Blackpool, BC (PID: 005-969-433), as shown dark shaded on the adjacent map, from MH1: Manufactured Home Park to RVP-1: Recreational Vehicle Park One to enable the development of a new 16-space recreational vehicle park.

What is Temporary Use Permit No. 72?
It will enable recreational vehicles to be located on a maximum of 16 out of 34 existing manufactured home park spaces on a portion of 1238 Ford Rd in Blackpool, BC (PID: 005 969-433) as shown in patterned fill on the adjacent map. The TUP is proposed to be subject to conditions and to allow this use for a three-year term.
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed zoning amendment bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to provide input at the Public Hearing. Anyone who wishes to present at the Hearing virtually (via Zoom) must contact Legislative Services prior to noon on October 1, 2024 to arrange virtual access. Anyone may also make written submissions on the matter of Bylaw 2765 (via the options below), which must be received at our office prior to noon on October 1, 2024. All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Temporary Use Permit and wish to comment may do so by making a written submission to the Board of Directors via the options below. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form part of the public record for this matter.
