Public Notice - Notice of Public Hearing BA 253, Bylaw 2833

The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in the TNRD Boardroom, 4th Floor - 465 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC, to consider proposed Bylaw 2833, 2024.

What is Zoning Amendment Application No. BA 253, Bylaw 2833, 2024?

It would rezone 1256 Hern Road, in Blackpool, (PID: 008-156-018) from R-1:Residential Single and Duplex zone to CR-1: Country Residential zone, as shown outlined on the adjacent map, to allow Agricultural and Horticultural use subject to livestock regulations in Section 3.24 of Zoning Bylaw 2400.


All persons who believe their interest in property may be affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to provide input at the Public Hearing. Anyone who wishes to present at the Hearing virtually (via Zoom) must contact Legislative Services prior to noon on March 5, 2024, to arrange virtual access. Anyone may also make written submissions on the matter of Bylaw 2833, 2024 (via the options below), which must be received at our office prior to noon on March 5, 2024. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form part of the public record for this matter.
