The Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing at the Little Fort Community Hall, 148 Highway #24, Little Fort, BC , to consider proposed Bylaw 2795 & Bylaw 2796. This Hearing is delegated to the Directors of Electoral Area “A” & “P” and the Board Chair.

What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2795, 2022?

It would amend Zoning Bylaw 2400 by shifting or exchanging the zoning over portions of 1520 and 1548 Heffley-Louis Creek Road (PIDs: 025 459 040 &007 598 718) between AF-1: Agricultural/ Forestry and AF-2: Agricultural/Forestry Two, all to enable a lot line adjustment by increasing /decreasing required minimum parcel area.

What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2796, 2022?

It would amend Zoning Bylaw 2400 by rezoning 5005 Clearwater Valley Road (PID: 024 505 480) from C-4: Recreational Commercial to CR-1: Country Residential. The rezoning would enable subdivision of the property into 2 or 3 country residential (CR-1) parcels.

All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Additionally, they may make written submissions on the matter of Bylaws 2795 and 2796 (via the options below) which must be received at our office prior to 9:00 am on the 9th day of January, 2023. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.

A copy of each proposed Bylaw and all supporting information can be inspected from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays) at our office, from December 22nd, 2022 to the day of the Hearing. You may also contact us via any of the options below for more information.
