The public is invited to review and comment on West Fraser’s Forest Operations Map (FOM). The FOM shows proposed road construction and cut block development under Forest Stewardship Plan #731 within Forest Development Units in the Thompson Rivers Natural Resource District (DTR). The validity period for the FOM is 3 years from the FOM Date of April 1, 2024. During the validity period, West Fraser may apply for Cutting Permits containing cut blocks and apply for road permits to construct roads shown on the FOM that have been referred for 30 days. The blocks and roads are in the general vicinity of Saskum Lk., Thuya Ck., Mad River, Eakin Ck., Raft River, Shannon Ck., and Mudd River.

The West Fraser FOM for the DTR is also available for in-person review and comment by appointment at West Fraser’s 100 Mile Lumber office at 926 Exeter McKinley Road in 100 Mile, B.C. during business hours between 8:00a.m. to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Comments will be accepted between April 1st, 2024 and May 1, 2024.
