Times places third for general excellence

The Clearwater-North Thompson Times has placed third in BC and Yukon Community Newspaper Association’s general excellence competition.

First place in Category A (under 1,600 circulation) went to Valemount’s Rocky Mountain Goat. Second went to Haida Gwaii Observer.

The winners were announced during the Ma Murray awards gala hosted by BCYCNA at the River Rock Casino in Richmond on Saturday evening, April 28.

This is the 12th time the Times has been a finalist in general excellence with BCYCNA during the 20 years that Black Press has owned the newspaper.

The Times has won first place for general excellence from BCYCNA in 2014, 2010 and 2006.
