Fallen debris lies beside the road next to the Falls Creek campground in Wells Gray Park, the result of a windstorm that whipped through the area on May 23. The park campgrounds are now back to normal, according to park contractor Merlin Blackwell. Most trails have been cleared of windfall as well. In fact, many trails in the park are in better shape than they’ve been for several years, Blackwell said. One exception is the Chain Lake Trail, which still needs some work. The trails to Kostal Lake and Hobson Lake continue to be experts-only. Photo by Keith McNeill
