A large hole yawns in the parking lot at Raft River Elementary School recently as construction of a connection from the school to District of Clearwater's sewer system gets underway.
The project to replace the school's outdated septic fields is being paid for with $715,900 from the province’s School Enhancement Program and $140,000 from School District 73.
The new sewer line will go up the hill to connect with the existing line in front of the hospital.
