The roundabout being constructed at the junction of Highway 5 and the road to Wells Gray Park in Clearwater is finally starting to look like a ... er ... roundabout.
In the background on Aug. 14 a paving crew lays asphalt in a circular track while bare ground in the center shows where the centre of the roundabout will be.
According to the Ministry, the first layer of paving is now complete. The concrete work, including the curbs, roundabout apron and sidewalks, will get underway in the next couple of weeks.
The project is on schedule to be completed by the end of October.
