On March 29, Clearwater RCMP reported the theft of a motor vehicle that was later located on Camp 2 road.
Police have since located and arrested a youth suspect.
The youth now faces charges of theft of motor vehicle and has a court date in the future.
License plate thief
On April 3, a Clearwater resident was arrested for stealing license plates off of vehicles.
The resident had just returned to Clearwater after a long absence.
Police located the male resident and arrested him for theft. The male spent most of the weekend in cells and then was transported by BC Sheriffs to Kamloops for court.
Domestic assault
On April 5, Clearwater RCMP responded to a report of a domestic assault in the Birch Island. The victim advised that she had been struck in the head several times by her boyfriend.
Police conducted their investigation and took statements from several witnesses.
Police then arrested a local male without incident for assault and uttering threats. The male has a court date in Kamloops in the future.
