A report from a local employee that Jimmy Pattison plans to tour the Canfor-Vavenby plant this week has been confirmed by the company.
“I can confirm that Mr. Pattison will be visiting the mill this week,” said Canfor spokesperson Christine Kennedy. “He will not be taking interviews or issuing statements to the media on this visit.”
With 38 per cent of Canfor’s shares, the Pattison Group is Canfor’s largest shareholder.
