Well-known photographer Chris Harris will talk about his latest book, “Motherstone: British Columbia’s Volcanic Plateau” in the Pit at Clearwater Secondary School on Friday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.
The book covers the geology and volcanoes of the Chilcotin-Cariboo region, including Wells Gray Park.
It was co-produced with writer Harold Rhenisch. Harris and Rhenisch’s previous book, “Spirit in the Grass: The Cariboo-Chilcotin’s Forgotten Landscape,” was nominated for two B.C. book prize categories.
Wells Gray Outdoor Club is sponsoring the presentation at CSS.
