Newspaper offices searched in police investigation

Star Journal and Times among locations where search warrants executed

Police officers executed search warrants at the offices of two Black Press newspapers, the North Thompson Star Journal and the Clearwater Times, earlier this month.

Sources indicate two other locations, including a residence, were searched as well.

The RCMP declined to comment.

Black Press is not commenting on the nature of the alleged offences related to the investigation. Charges have not yet been laid.
