As of April 1, bus fares in District of Clearwater and Wells Gray Country will be simplified. For all riders, cash fares will be $2 and a sheet of 10 tickets will cost $18. This change eliminates the multiple fare zones that are currently in place. The new fares seek to promote ridership and maximize fare revenue to support future development in the system.
Fares for the Valley Connector service to Kamloops will remain the same.
Founded in 1998, the Clearwater Regional Transit System currently provides 7,000 passenger trips per year.
