Clearwater-Vavenby Legion Branch 259 representative Joe Short (l) presents a $250 cheque to Tony Brooks of the sixth annual Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride on Friday.

The money will go towards the Military Police Fund for Blind Children as well as the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.

A group of motorcyclists is riding from Victoria, BC, to St. John's, NL, escorted by other riders from the different provinces. All are associated with the Canadian military in some way.

Below:  Participants in the sixth annual Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride line up with the bikes in front of the Clearwater Legion Hall after having lunch there on Friday. The group was returning home from Jasper after escorting five cross-Canada riders to the Alberta border.
