Students had been challenged to take a photo or video of themselves checking a smoke detector, or to draw up a fire escape plan.
If they did so, they were given a ticket for prizes.
Firefighters also visited Raft River Elementary plus homeschoolers during the day, as well as hosting an open house at the firehall during the evening.
