There will be an election forum in Blue River on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the community hall at 7:30 p.m.
Willow MacDonald, incumbent Thompson-Nicola Regional District director for Thompson Headwaters (Area B) will face off against Max Lentz, the former director.
The event is being organized by Blue River Community Association.
Clearwater resident Grant Gale will act as moderator, while Ted Richardson of Vavenby will be time-keeper. Gale and Richardson are also to act as moderator and time-keeper for a forum planned for Clearwater on Nov. 6.
Shelley Sim of Clearwater, who is running against Willow MacDonald to be school trustee for the Clearwater-Blue River area, has indicated that she will not be able to attend the Blue River forum.
