For those who are looking to get their first COVID-19 vaccine shot can do so through Interior Health’s mobile immunization clinic which will be heading to Clearwater next week.

The clinics are open to anyone born in 2009 or earlier that is looking for their first shot, or those who need their second dose and received their first dose more than seven weeks (or 49 days) ago.

Unlike previous clinics, there is no appointment necessary. People who live or work in the Clearwater area will be able to walk up, register and receive their vaccine dose.

There are three separate mobile teams travelling in the interior: a north and south team, each targeting rural, remote and hard-to-reach communities, and an urban team.

Those near Clearwater can head over to the Clearwater Curling Club July 28 and 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for their shots.
