What a great stretch of weather. It feels well deserved as we leave the cold and snow behind. I hope you are all outside and enjoying the sunshine. Walking is a great way to control stress, engaging that connection between mind and body.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers and donors who helped exceed our goal of $5,000. Thank you Clearwater, for your generous donations totalling $5,191.60. This year’s winner of our gift basket was Mitch Miller. Congratulations, and thank you for your support.

Thank you to Buy-Low Foods and its staff for supporting Heart and Stroke at Buy-Low Foods. February has always been an icy month and I am so relieved that the volunteers are safe from the ice and snow. Thank you Jeff and Bonnie and the staff at Wells Gray Inn for your generous support of Heart and Stroke. It is all the things you do to make my job as team captain so easy.

Thank you to all the businesses for their donations, and Rose Marlow, who has devoted many hours connecting with all of you.

Thank you so much for all the volunteers that spent the month of February accepting donations. Job well done. All of you donate so much time and make Heart and Stroke month such a success. None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for you all. Again, you make Heart and Stroke month not only easy, but a joy.

We had our wind up luncheon at Monroe’s on March 19 and would like to share a photo of the day.

Thank-you ladies!
