District of Clearwater announced last Thursday the appointment of Leslie Groulx to fill the role of chief administrative officer.
"Leslie brings extensive experience to the position as she has worked in several areas such as education, forestry, and business management, including seven years of experience and certification within the regional district and municipal governments," said Mayor John Harwood.
"Leslie is a long time resident of Clearwater who has demonstrated her commitment to the community through her volunteer work, strong work ethic and professional development for the betterment of the community."
Groulx takes the place of former chief administrative officer Isabell Hadford, who stepped down to take early retirement last June. Groulx, who had been District of Clearwater's corporate administrator, has been filling in as interim CAO since then.
