Grant writing workshop being hosted in Little Fort

Grant/Proposal Writing Workshop for Non-Profits on March 10 at Little Fort Hall. $25/registration fee

North Thompson Community Foundation recently announced it will put on a Grant/Proposal Writing Workshop for Non-Profits on March 10 at Little Fort Hall.

This workshop will be a full day workshop, with lunch and snacks provided for a $25 per person registration fee. The facilitator for the day will be Barbara McMillan.

McMillan offers a certificated course on proposal writing at BCIT and has agreed to condense this into a one-day course that is specifically designed to assist not-for-profits to understand the dynamics of writing an engaging and “winning” proposal.

This therefore will be a crash course in grant writing, and not for the faint of heart. Indeed, this interactive session will outline the key elements of proposal writing and provide strategies and tools to make it easier, faster and more fun.

All area groups and organizations are encouraged to have a member take part in this workshop to assist their organization in better understanding the process of applying for grant funding.
