ABC Life Literacy Canada announced that submissions are now open for the The Peter Gzowski Life Literacy Fellowship.
This fellowship provides a grant for a Canadian journalist to publish a literacy project that supports, creates awareness and enhances the importance of literacy.
The honour was established to recognize the outstanding contribution of the late broadcaster and journalist Peter Gzowski. The fellowship follows in the tradition of The Peter Gzowski Literacy Award of Merit (PGLAM) which was founded by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1993. Submissions are being accepted until Aug. 19, 2011.
