Dawson Thomas Arlin-Hatcher Thorbergson receives a baby quilt from Linda Simm of the Clearwater Hospital Auxiliary for being the first boy born in 2017 from Clearwater and area.
Born Jan. 11 at 6 lb. 10 oz., Dawson is the son of proud parents Lea-Ann McClelland and Robert Thorbergson.
He also has an older sister Brook-Lynn Walkinson. Grandparents are Jane Christy, Mark Smith, Arlin McClelland, Rosalie Edwards and Vance and Elizabeth Christianson.
There was reportedly a girl from this area born in Vancouver on the same date but details are not yet available.
