Clearwater schoolbus driver Bill Dowds has his job back.
Dowds was suspended without pay from his job last April after being charged with sexually touching a girl who rode the bus he drove. He was acquitted last September but was not reinstated right away as School District 73 was conducting its own investigation.
The bus driver learned the week before last that the school district was giving him his job back plus offering back pay.
Dowds was injured while driving logging truck last summer. He hopes to be able to get back driving schoolbus early next year.
