The Clearwater-North Thompson Times is once again a top-three finalist in BC and Yukon Community Newspaper Association's general excellence competition.

Other finalists this year for general excellence in Category B (1,501 - 3,000 circulation – note that the circulation numbers for subscription-based newspaper are doubled for the competition) are the Oliver Chronicle and Princeton's Similkameen Spotlight.

This is the 11th time the Times has been a finalist in general excellence with BCYCNA during the 19 years that Black Press has owned the newspaper.

The Times has won first place for general excellence from BCYCNA in 2014, 2010 and 2006. It has also won first place for best all round newspaper from Canadian Community Newspapers Association in 2011 and 2014.

Winners will be announced during the BCYCNA's Ma Murray awards gala at the River Rock Casino in Richmond on Saturday, April 29.
