Air Ambulance lands in Brookfield Mall

The parking lot of Clearwater's Brookfield Mall serves as an emergency heliport following an accident Tuesday afternoon.

Main photo: A BC Air Ambulance helicopter rests in the parking lot of Clearwater’s Brookfield Mall on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 28. According to RCMP Cpl. Mark Labossiere, the helicopter was called after a local woman suffered a serious fall. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, he said, but the first responders did not want to risk any further damage.
