Clearwater hosted girls soccer teams from throughout B.C.

Girls soccer teams from various parts of B.C. attended a fun and competitive tournament that was hosted by Clearwater Secondary School on the school’s fields on May 3 - 4. A total of eight teams played for the Raiders Cup, from Hope, 100 Mile House, Fort St. James, Kamloops, Clearwater, the Nechako Valley, Barriere, and Burns Lake.

On May 3, when teams arrived they were separated into two different fields of play where a total of 12 games were played throughout the day. These games determined which teams would play against each other the following day in a series of exhilarating final games.

The placing of the teams after the tournament was as follows: 1st Place Fort St. James, 2nd Place Nechako Valley, 3rd Place 100 Mile House, 4th Place Burns Lake, 5th Place Hope, 6th Place Clearwater, 7th Place Kamloops School of Arts, 8th Place Barriere.
