DriveBC shows Highway 5 between Little Fort and Avola has compact snow and slushy sections Wednesday, Jan. 8.

DriveBC is warning driver that there is compact snow between Little Fort to 18 km south of Avola on Wednesday, Jan. 8. 

It is slushy with slippery sections, notes the website. 

The forecast for the Clearwater area, provided by ºEnvironment Canada and Climate Change, is for cloudy conditions with a 30 per cent chance of flurries, with 

a high of 2ºC with a low of -3ºC overnight.
