Hello Parents, Caregivers, Students and Staff,
I hope you enjoy the photos I have shared. My hope is that they give you a glimpse of what happens within the CSS school community, things you might not have been aware of. One example of things you might not be aware of is the work we do with students around money. Often on social media I see posts along the lines of “glad I learned trigonometry, use that a ton! How about teaching kids about taxes etc.”
For the record I am a science teacher and we actually do use trigonometry and other higher powered maths often in class, but I get it. I want to share with parents that we do spend a significant amount of time talking to kids about managing money, taxes and budgeting.

• The first day of school after Spring Break, which started on March 17, is Monday March 31

• Easter Monday April 21
• Core Competency Week Friday June 13
• Graduation ceremonies for students in a position to graduate • Grad fees are payable to the office, $110
