I was reading a story about some person on facebook today that was talking all about their beloved cat. Now, I am more a dog-person but kittens are cute! Haha. Are you a dog or cat person? There are some people that can only be one or the other and a few who just like all animals. I know some people that let their pets sleep with them also. No matter the size! That’s crazy with some types. One lady I know has four cats and they all sleep on the bed. She sometimes has trouble moving hee hee. Is that her being the owner or, them being the boss? Does she draw comfort from having them there or, are they not to be denied of her warmth? I know a few who keep their animals around for protection and they are mostly outside pets as well. I know still more that name and cuddle livestock like cows and chickens and of course are slaves to the feeding and grooming schedules of them. For many they coo and talk like you would to a small baby, to any, and all animals. Do the animals like that or?
I wonder if we are really the intelligent ones? Are we the bosses? They get free food and drink and generally have little work to do to earn it. I know it is not always like that, I am generalizing. Hmmm… other than prison… is there a life/job out there for anyone like that? I suppose part of their ‘work’ is just looking cute and cuddling the humans. Show the people that you are happy to see them and keep them company and it’s all good! Sounds like a sweet deal to me! Just contemplate on that for a moment! I know it is probably not all roses for them but ya gotta admit it sounds really pretty good! I guess, on the whole, those with pets like/want/need them around just as much as the animals need them too! I have no doubt that some people prefer their pets to the company of others. That unconditional love is kinda cool! Maybe if we treated more people like we do our pets and or vice-versa for some, the world would be a lot nicer all around! Maybe we were born in the wrong bodies and should look at the world once in awhile like they do! That would be an interesting prospect, right? Haha! I know a few friends that are going out right now and take some time to let their bosses take them walking! Maybe they will even let them pick the place! Anyway, it is a question to ponder…Are we the bosses? Or……?
