Clearwater-based author Lloyd Jeck has written his third book.
Chips From My Axe provides multiple viewpoints on living in the B.C. Interior, especially the Robson Valley.
One section, titled The Mountains of Robson Valley, is a selection of cowboy poetry by contributor Neil Jeck.
It introduces the reader to one of British Columbia’s most scenic areas and swings the door open to a collection of adventure story’s and thoughtful deliberations.
In another story, early 20th century settlers are followed as personal effects are moved more than 500 miles in a wheelbarrow to a surprising location.
Bloody Cold Murder leads the reader into the Yukon case history submitted by the RCMP Veterans Association.
In addition, there are mixed topic stories labelled as Stirring Practical Wisdom, where opinions are stated, facts presented and sometimes solutions suggested.
