Youth to Christ gets new leader — Kim Bridge

Y2C will be held on Fridays from 7 - 9:30 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church in Clearwater

There is a new leader for the inter-church youth group known as Youth to Christ (Y2C ).

Kim Bridge takes over from past leader Pastor Wayne Richardson though he will continue to work with her and others on the leadership team. Bridge is excited to return to Clearwater, which is her home. She has been away for 25 years. "There is no place like home!"

The team will be working with youth 13 - 18 years old from Vavenby, Clearwater, and surrounding areas. Y2C will be held on Fridays from 7 - 9:30 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church in Clearwater.

Some events may be held at sponsoring churches, the Clearwater Bible Camp, or a school gym. The youth will sometimes go out of town for different occasions.

Bridge feels that everything will be worth attending simply because, "The youth of this community are awesome to hang out with."

There is a junior youth group for ages 10 - 12 starting on Wednesday at the Community Baptist Church.

Any kids interested in attending or for more information on Y2C should contact Bridge.

Y2C is sponsored and operated by Clearwater Christian Church, Clearwater Living Streams Christian Fellowship, Clearwater New Life Assembly, Community Baptist Church, and Vavenby Christian Church.

I would like to apologize for an error in the picture of last week's article. The one little girl is Moira Crystall, not Courtney Prince.
