On Friday, Mar. 9, the Vavenby primary students had a fun afternoon when they went sledding down the big hill at the sand pit next to the school.
The children brought their own sleds. One child said that there were five sleds and five GTs. Student Jacob Klingbeil-Tutt exclaimed, “It was really fun. We just zoomed down the hill!”
Before their adventure there was a hot lunch of soup and brownies. Teacher Adam Forsyth brought hot chocolate to keep the class warm while sledding.
