White pelicans gather near the confluence of the Clearwater and North Thompson rivers recently.

White pelicans gather near the confluence of the Clearwater and North Thompson rivers recently.

Although they live further north on the Prairies, this is near the northern edge of their range in B.C. and they are not often seen in the Clearwater area.
