The chairs are greatly appreciated, say the nurses, especially during a 12-hour shift when they might have only a few minutes to put their feet up. Since re-starting last fall Canfor has not continued with its earlier policy of putting over-weight payments into a special truckers’ fund for local good causes, McGill said.
