TNRD to hold community meeting about Latremouille Park

A meeting has been schedule by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District to review the Latremouille Park improvement plan.

The plan has been developed with input from residents and is expected to include a new playground, a shaded picnic shelter, fencing, benches and picnic tables with concrete pads and a new community sign. Construction is planned for later this year. The park encompassed the area around the Little Fort Community Hall, including the baseball diamond and playground.

Residents are welcome to attend the meeting which will be held April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Little Fort Community Hall. Staff from both the TNRD and LA West Landscape Architecture will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Funding for the project comes from a Community Benefit Agreement with Trans Mountain, according to a press release, and exact costs are to be determined later this spring.
