He and naturalist Trevor Goward led a Wells Gray World Heritage Year field trip about the park’s waterfalls on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The next event on the Heritage Year calendar is Speak to the Wild (Sept. 4 – 8), which sees some of Canada’s leading thinkers and writers converge to talk about the park.
