On Tuesday, March 27, the Blue River Powder Packers snowmobile club hosted a barbecue for Blue River Elementary School.
The event was kicked off with Matt Nicol, club treasurer and a founding member of the club, making sure all the little ones and their families were fed.

Two professional guides from Blue River Sledz, Jamie Iwaschuck and Nick Woods, came out to give a little snowmobile education and talk about how they got into snowmobiling. The children were able to sit on the sleds and ask questions of the riders.
In the spirit of Easter approaching, the club held an egg hunt, with the kids locating tasty treats by working together and locating them using avalanche transceivers.
The day was finished off with a great show of jumps, tricks and skills by these two amazing riders.
