A boom on the back of a truck holds a new power pole as workers in a bucket work on the wires connecting an old pole on Thursday, Jan. 17. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure requested the poles be re-located from its right-of-way, said a ministry spokesperson. This work would be required regardless of the final re-configuration of the intersection, she said.
