Annie Whelen, a Grade 7 student at Raft River Elementary, works on one of 10 banners being painted by students from Raft River Elementary and Clearwater Secondary with the help of local artists. The banners are being made in preparation for the Clearwater Arts Festival, which will be put on by the North Thompson Arts Council on April 21. The banners will be displayed at the festival as well as at other celebrations and projects.
